Daniel R. Revers Managing Partner and Founder

Mr. Revers is the founder of ArcLight and has 30 years of energy finance and private equity experience. Mr. Revers is responsible for overall investment, asset management, strategic planning, and operations of ArcLight and its funds. Prior to forming ArcLight in 2000, Mr. Revers was a Managing Director in the Corporate Finance Group at John Hancock Financial Services, where he was responsible for the origination, execution, and management of a $6 billion portfolio consisting of debt, equity, and mezzanine investments in the energy industry. Prior to joining John Hancock in 1995, Mr. Revers held various financial positions at Wheelabrator Technologies, where he specialized in the development, acquisition, and financing of domestic and international power and energy projects. Mr. Revers earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Lafayette College and a Master of Business Administration from the Amos Tuck School of Business Administration at Dartmouth College.

Theodore D. Burke Partner and General Counsel

Mr. Burke joined ArcLight in 2014 and has over 34 years of legal, energy finance, and private equity experience. Prior to joining ArcLight, Mr. Burke was the Chief Executive and Global Managing Partner of Freshfields, Bruckhaus Deringer LLP. Before Freshfields, he was a Partner with Milbank Tweed Hadley and McCloy. Mr. Burke earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Vermont and a Juris Doctor from Georgetown University.

Kevin M. Crosby Partner

Mr. Crosby joined ArcLight in 2001 and has 24 years of energy finance and private equity experience. Prior to joining ArcLight, Mr. Crosby was an Associate in the Corporate Finance Group at John Hancock where he focused on analyzing, structuring, and closing private debt and equity investments in the energy industry. Mr. Crosby also focused on industrial sectors such as chemicals, metals, consumer products, and healthcare while at John Hancock. Mr. Crosby began his career in 1995 at John Hancock Funds, where he held various financial positions. Mr. Crosby earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Maine.

John F. Erhard Partner

Mr. Erhard joined ArcLight in 2001 and has 20 years of energy finance and private equity experience. Mr. Erhard began his career at Schroders, where he focused on mergers and acquisitions. Mr. Erhard earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Princeton University and a Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School.

Timothy M. Evans Partner

Mr. Evans joined ArcLight in 2005 and has 18 years of energy finance and private equity experience. Prior to joining ArcLight, Mr. Evans was an Associate at Allegheny Energy Supply, where he originated transactions in the Northeast power markets for the trading and marketing group. Mr. Evans began his career in Merrill Lynch’s Global Power and Energy Group, where he focused on raising public and private capital and developing financial strategies for companies in the power and energy sectors. Mr. Evans earned a Bachelor of Arts from Dartmouth College and a Master of Business Administration from the Harvard Business School.

Mark A. Tarini Partner and Co-Head, Portfolio Management & Investor Relations

Mr. Tarini joined ArcLight in 2002 and has 35 years of energy finance and private equity experience. From 1989 to 2002, Mr. Tarini was the Chief Financial Officer of two private equity investment funds focused on equity investments in the power segment: EP Power Finance and Energy Investors Funds Group. Prior to this, Mr. Tarini was Vice President of Finance for Legeis Resources, a developer of alternative energy and waste management facilities. Mr. Tarini began his career as a Manager in the Utility and Real Estate practices of Arthur Andersen & Company. Mr. Tarini earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Boston College.

Carter A. Ward Partner

Mr. Ward joined ArcLight in 2001 and has 24 years of energy finance and private equity experience. Prior to joining ArcLight, Mr. Ward was a Vice President at McManus & Miles, a boutique investment bank serving the power and energy industries. Mr. Ward earned a Bachelor of Science in Operations Research & Industrial Engineering from Cornell University.

Josef M. Alves Managing Director

Mr. Alves joined ArcLight in 2013 and has over ten years of energy finance experience. Prior to joining Arclight, Mr. Alves was an Analyst in the Project, Commodity & Infrastructure Finance group at Morgan Stanley, where he focused on structuring and arranging structured debt and mezzanine project financings across the energy sector. Mr. Alves earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Northeastern University with a dual concentration in Finance and Accounting.

Marco F. Gatti Managing Director

Mr. Gatti joined ArcLight in 2018 and has 11 years of energy and private equity experience. Prior to joining ArcLight, Mr. Gatti was a Vice President in the Energy group at Warburg Pincus, where he focused on the sourcing, execution and portfolio management of equity investments in the energy and heavy industry sectors. He also worked at Bain Capital, McKinsey & Company and Praxair. Mr. Gatti earned a Master of Business Administration from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Minnesota and a Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering from Politecnico di Milano.

Charles A. Poole III Managing Director

Mr. Poole joined ArcLight in 2012 and has 13 years of finance and private equity experience. Prior to joining ArcLight, Mr. Poole was an Associate in the Merchant Banking Division at Goldman, Sachs & Co., where he focused on the execution and portfolio management of corporate equity and debt investments primarily in the energy and industrial sectors. Mr. Poole began his career as an Analyst in the Global Mergers & Acquisitions group at Lehman Brothers, where he executed transactions in the industrial sector. Mr. Poole earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Spanish Language & Literature from Columbia University.

Carl Stjernfeldt Managing Director

Mr. Stjernfeldt joined ArcLight in 2021 and has more than twenty years of investing and energy experience, across a broad set of investment stages and focus areas. Prior to joining ArcLight Mr. Stjernfeldt was Head of Corporate Development for Royal Dutch Shell’s renewable business in North America. Prior to Shell he spent more than 15 years doing venture capital investments at Battery Ventures, Castile Ventures, and as the US leader for Shell’s corporate venture unit. Before his investment career, Mr. Stjernfeldt was a software developer, manager, and consultant. He earned an MBA from MIT Sloan, and has a dual MS in Computer/Electrical engineering from the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) in Sweden and Northeastern in Boston.

Lucius H. Taylor Managing Director

Mr. Taylor joined ArcLight in 2007 and has 20 years of experience in energy and natural resource finance and engineering. Prior to joining ArcLight, Mr. Taylor was a Vice President in the Energy and Natural Resource Group at FBR Capital Markets, where he focused on raising public and private capital for companies in the power and energy sectors. Mr. Taylor began his career as a geologist and project manager at CH2M HILL and is a licensed professional geologist. Mr. Taylor earned a Bachelor of Arts in Geology from Colorado College, a Master of Science in Hydrogeology from the University of Nevada, and a Master of Business Administration from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.

C. George Yong Managing Director

Mr. Yong joined ArcLight in 2012 and has 12 years of energy finance experience. Prior to joining ArcLight, Mr. Yong was a Director at FTI Consulting, where he focused on investment advisory within the electric sector. He also worked at Charles River Associates as a consultant in the energy sector. Mr. Yong started his career at Saracen Energy as an analyst for the natural gas and power trading desks. Mr. Yong earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Biological Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology with a minor in Biology.

Andrew M. Brannan Director

Mr. Brannan joined ArcLight in 2015 and has nine years of energy finance experience. Prior to joining ArcLight, Mr. Brannan was an Associate at The NorthBridge Group, where he advised vertically integrated utilities and merchant power producers on corporate strategy. He also has experience at J.P. Morgan, where he worked on the energy investment banking team. Mr. Brannan earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Yale University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

Trevor E. Breen Director

Mr. Breen joined ArcLight in 2016 and has over seven years of energy finance experience. Prior to joining ArcLight, Mr. Breen was an Associate in the Producer Finance group at Morgan Stanley, where he focused on evaluating and executing upstream oil and gas structured debt investments. Mr. Breen also held positions at Energy Management Inc. and at Goldman Sachs as an Analyst focused on energy commodity derivatives structuring. Mr. Breen earned a Master of Science in Finance and Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics and Philosophy from Vanderbilt University.

Matthew W. Miller Director

Mr. Miller joined ArcLight in 2020 and has 10 years of energy finance experience. Prior to joining ArcLight, Mr. Miller was a Managing Director at Recurrent Energy, a North America-focused utility-scale solar and battery storage developer. At Recurrent, he led the project finance team that was responsible for the company’s US asset-level and corporate-level financings. He also worked at Trina Solar, where he focused on strategic planning and international partnerships. Mr. Miller earned a Bachelor of Arts from Dartmouth College.

Hayes A. Winik Director

Prior to joining ArcLight in 2018, Mr. Winik was a Senior Associate at Hull Street Energy, where he evaluated, structured, and managed equity investments in the power sector. He also worked in the Global Development and M&A group at InterGen and as a management consultant at Charles River Associates. Mr. Winik started his career at Constellation Energy Commodities Group as a market fundamentals and trading risk analyst for the power and fuels trading desks. Mr. Winik received a B.S. in Finance from Georgetown University.

Nicholas A. Bradley Associate

Prior to joining ArcLight in 2017, Mr. Bradley was an Analyst in the Energy Investment Banking Group at Morgan Stanley, where he worked on a variety of transactions for companies in the upstream, midstream, downstream, and oil field service sectors of the energy industry. Mr. Bradley earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from The University of Texas at Austin.

Alexander M. Busch Associate

Mr. Busch joined ArcLight in 2020. Prior to joining ArcLight, Mr. Busch was an Associate in the Energy Investment Banking group at Guggenheim Securities where he worked on a variety of transactions in the upstream and midstream sectors. He began his career as an Analyst in the Energy & Power Investment Banking group at Wells Fargo Securities where he worked on the Acquisitions & Divestitures team. Mr. Busch earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a Bachelor of Management for Engineers from Bucknell University.

Ryan J. Ganong Associate

Mr. Ganong joined ArcLight in 2020. Prior to joining ArcLight, Mr. Ganong was an Analyst in the High Yield Debt group at Fidelity Investments, where he evaluated investment opportunities across the capital structure, primarily focused on the upstream sector of the energy industry. Mr. Ganong earned a Bachelor of Arts in History from Dartmouth College and a Master of Business Administration from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College, where he was a Revers Center for Energy Fellow.

H. Thomas Milburn, III Associate

Mr. Milburn joined ArcLight in 2018. Prior to joining ArcLight, Mr. Milburn was an Associate with Deutsche Bank’s Global Natural Resources Group where he specialized in the execution of M&A and capital markets mandates across the upstream, midstream and downstream sectors. Mr. Milburn earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and French and a Master of Finance degree with an Energy specialization from Tulane University.

Christina L. Thomas Associate

Ms. Thomas joined ArcLight in 2016 and has over seven years of energy finance experience. Prior to joining Arclight, Ms. Thomas was an Associate in the Energy Investment Banking group at BMO Capital Markets, where she focused primarily on capital markets transactions, M&A advisory engagements, and project financings for the upstream and midstream sectors. Ms. Thomas earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Master of Finance degree from Tulane University.
